Our seniors personal training and general exercise program consists of personalized workouts designed to meet your specific goals and fitness level. Workouts are designed with age in mind and include three phases: a warm-up, conditioning, a cool-down, and stretching.
This program is great for those trying to stay fit, stabilize their core, improve their balance, and boost their strength with age and injury appropriate exercises.
Whether we meet once a week for an assisted walk around the block, or twice a week to improve your stretches and strengthening, this program is guaranteed to be specific to you and your goals!

For those looking to increase their chances of a healthy recovery after an injury or surgery, our in-home seniors rehabilitation program is meant to provide rehab-specific exercise that works alongside physiotherapy.
Once being discharged from an in-clinic physiotherapist, this program focuses on continuing the plan set out by your physio - with the addition of new and enjoyable exercises when appropriate.

Taking a fall can be a serious concern as you age. This individualized exercise program is designed to educate you or your family members about the risks of falls, and ways to avoid them.
The fall prevention program incorporates a variety of aerobic exercises that target balance, posture, coordination and gait training. Each person faces different challenges while we age, so together we will work to decrease the chance of a bad fall.

Preparation for a surgery is critical. This program includes the training and treatment needed to get you ready for your surgery, or another stressor. By building up your body before your operation, we ensure that it is better able to handle the postoperative period - where your body may be inactive or experience decline. In other words, we get you to a better place physically and mentally before an operation so that you can retain a higher level of function after.
This program includes injury and surgery specific exercises as well as education surrounding lifestyle pre-operation.

What can I expect from a session?
Home Stretch is designed to support active aging and healthy living. During your in-home session, you can expect us to work together to create an enjoyable and safe fitness routine - we truly believe that social connection and collaboration is a part of your wellness journey! Throughout your sessions, we will set you up with the appropriate tools and coaching to overcome barriers such as: loss of confidence, loss of independence, pain, and physical restrictions all so you can maintain an active and independent lifestyle.
In Person and Remote Options
What makes Home Stretch unique is that we provide convenient and safe exercise and personal training at your own home. We work in and around the Vancouver BC area. This includes but is not limited to: North and West Vancouver, Kitsilano, Kerrisdale, Shaughnessy, East Van, downtown Vancouver and Burnaby. Can’t have someone over for a visit? No worries - we also offer remote treatment options.
