Meet Melissa

Founder, Kinesiologist & Active Aging Coach

While working at a physiotherapy clinic, I recognized a gap in care for older patients. Too often, I saw them being discharged early, left to fend for themselves at home at a time when they still needed professional support. Because I have always loved working with older adults (ever since my first volunteer position at a local retirement community), I realized this was an opportunity to help an often over-looked demographic.

From this, Home Stretch was born. I now have the pleasure of providing that extra, needed support for adults, aged 55+, so that they can access in-home preventative or rehabilitative exercise.

Melissa graduated from Western University with an honours specialization in Kinesiology and a certificate in active aging.
